College.gov: I'm Going.
College.gov is a website sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.  The site aims to educate students and parents about the importance of going to college.  Along with information on the importance of college, there is also information on financial aid, selecting the "right" college, and making the most of a college degree.  The site provides a very readable and relatable look into the basics of college, and is perfect for any student or parent wanting to learn more about college procedures and dynamics!

Peace Learning Center
The Peace Learning Center offers a half-day session on Addressing Conflict in Healthy Ways. This session will be held April 18 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. Participants will learn and practice techniques such as asking for and expressing oneself with clarity, setting healthy boundaries, and learn how body language and tone of voice can help or hinder our communication with others. Cost of the session is $25.

Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
The OSEP-funded center was established to address the behavioral and discipline systems needed for successful learning and social development of students. PRISM
PRISM is a free website that provides collections of online resources for Indiana educators in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The primary collection of digital teaching materials is indexed according to the Indiana Academic Standards for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and secondary education classes Algebra I and II. Project on Student Debt
A new resource for income-based repayment of student loans, the Project on Student Debt has created an online information service that provides information on the recently enacted legislation that permits income-contingent repayment of student loans.


PULSE
PULSE is an interdisciplinary curriculum for high schools based on biomedical research and environmental health science topics that identify the connections between human health and the health of the environment. Includes lesson plans and projects that emphasize finding answers through scientific processes, library research, the Internet, and from other people.


Reaching Youth Online
In this workshop led by Roger Williams from Emergent Leadership Institute and Kirsten Eamon-Shine, participants will explore social networking sites and how online tools can support positive youth development.  This fun, participatory training provides an overview of online tools that engage youth and hints about how you can utilize these tools to benefit your programs and youth.  When & Where: Wednesday, April 16, 10 am to noon at the United Way Building in Indianapolis.
