To help schools develop a research-based approach to school improvement, the Center engages in partnerships, especially with Pathways schools, where researchers and educators co-construct projects that address the specific needs of schools and communities. The goal is that these partnerships lead to the development of research-based models of best practices, which can be shared through professional development, summer courses, degree programs, Web resources, and other dissemination channels.
