American School Board Journal is an editorially independent education magazine published monthly by the National School Boards Association. Published by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), Educational Leadership (EL) provides information about teaching and learning, new ideas and practices relevant to practicing educators, and the latest trends and issues affecting prekindergarten through higher education. EL is published eight times each year, September through May, with a combined December/January issue.

Phi Delta Kappan
Phi Delta Kappan, the professional journal for education published by Phi Delta Kappa International, addresses issues of policy and practice for educators at all levels. Advocating research-based school reform, the Kappan provides a forum for debate on controversial subjects. Published since 1915, the journal appears monthly September through June.
